A COMMUNITY PAINT PROJECT

During June, Life 96.5 and Norberg Paints of Sioux Falls are teaming up in celebration of the business’s 125th Anniversary!

Generations ago, two Swedish brothers came to America to flee religious persecution and begin a new life.Their business was selling paint and painting products. Norberg Paints is still doing business today, and to say thanks to our community, the store is providing paint to cover 125 homes in Sioux Falls this year.

While home ownership is a reality for many Sioux Falls residents, the cost and effort of maintenance has become too difficult for some. Norberg Paints and Life 96.5 want to bless these homeowners by providing each with a volunteer team to scrape, caulk, prime and paint their homes at no cost to them. It will involve a huge community team of participants who want to get involved in being the hands and feet of Jesus this summer.

Can we count you in? If you are interested, gather a team of 8-10 friends, family, co-workers, or neighbors and register to paint a home! Work dates and times are flexible to your team’s availability. All paint and materials will be provided by Norberg Paints. Tools and a trailer will be provided by Sioux Falls Habitat For Humanity.
