Suz Cream Chicken Recipe

This is my favorite! My mom always made this for my birthday meal when I was a kid. Hope you enjoy it too.

6 de-bonded chicken breasts
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 can beef consomme
2T catsup
1/4C parmesan cheese
2T cornstarch
8 oz water
8 oz sour cream
1 large can peach halves

Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Saute’ lightly in butter and paprika. Remove chicken to 9×12 casserole dish.

Then in same pan you saute’d chicken, add consommee, catsup and parmesan cheese. Thicken with corn startch and 1 can water. Blend together over medium heat until it begins to thicken. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Slowly stir in sour cream.

Pour mixture over chicken in casserole. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove from oven, arrange peach halves on top of casserole and bake additional 10 minutes.

Serve with rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. May also serve slivered almonds on the side to sprinkle on top of individual servings.

Enjoy!

Share your “super parent” advice!

School starts in a week for many area students. What are you doing to build up your nervous kids ready to jump into a new school year? We hear about dabbing a little perfume or cologne on them so they can have a comfort scent or leaving notes in their backpacks.

We would love to know how you ease the tummy butterflies in your school bound kids.

We’re praying for a thief today!

This morning Dave and I talked about an e-mail we got from Tina saying that overnight a thief had broken into their garage and stolen her husbands golf clubs. But instead of being angry she said she’s going to be praying for him that his heart would be changed.

Has somebody “wronged you” lately and you want to change your hurt and anger into prayers for them? We would love for you to share your story with us.

A husbands eyes that stray …

This morning Dave and I talked about an e-mail I received from someone asking for my advice. She told me she  and her husband are Christians but she catches her husband looking at other women often. She said it hurts her feelings and is the cause of fights between them.

We had great calls about it this morning, but now we want to know what you think.  What advice would you give to this woman?
