Help! It’s chicken nugget Tuesday!!!
Here it is 10:30 Tuesday morning. I’m off the air and doing more desk type work. Well, I’m supposed to be anyway but my mind is elsewhere. Honestly, it’s on my lunch box! I keep looking in it even though I’m the one who packed it, so I know what’s in there!
I refuse to use the word “diet”. I’m not on … one of those. I”m just eating healthy. Lots of fruits and vegetables and grains and other stuff that’s really good for you. I’ve been doing so well, no real cravings till this morning. Ugh, I hate this. I want McDonalds right now so bad! Maybe because it’s Tuesday and this is the day chicken nuggets are only .99. It’s a habit, I admit it.
So I guess like every other bad habit, we confront it and pray through it. I could use a prayer warrior partner right about now!
God, please give me strength today. You know it’s chicken nugget Tuesday!

You can do it Suzanne – don’t give up! If you stay away from fast food long enough, some day the smell of that greasy food will become unpleasant to you! Think of it as a someone who has quit smoking. After so long the smell of smoke becomes disgusting to an ex-smoker like myself.
Good luck to you on this new health journey. I’ll be praying for you!

Hi Suzan,
I’ve heard you over the air for more than a year now. And I heard about your blog but I never really made the effort to check it out until today. Your writing is just as interesting as your speech. . There is authenticity, realism, and fun in everything you say. I really love listening to you on the morning show. I usually bring my bible to work and read it because I really don’t give a dizzle any morel lo. But you, when I listen to you, you just make it that much better to be me. Because you are so real and peculiar, you make being peculiar something to covet. When I listen to you, I just know I’m all right. You just echo…wait, that is not the right word—you demonstrate Romans one—one—six. I’m a youngster so I’ll clear it out a little bit. When you share your stuff, you’re all or nothing. You say what you know to be true without shame. You preach and confess Romans 1:16 and I’m not sure if you know it. You are so familiar with yourself that you don’t even know the humility that you carry. It’s evident in what you are willing to share on the air but if one is to point it out to you, you’ll mistaken it for personality. You are not ashamed.
You always encourage so today I hope you reap what you’ve sown. This is my effort to give back to you. You’re awesome. Keep doing your thang! I know it’s a little late but I want to encourage you that what you are doing with the weight thing is more than just you losing weight or staying healthy. In fact, it is less about you than you think. But I thank you for aligning yourself with the will and purpose of God. And he shall and will bless you for this little thing you allowed him to do through you. It shouldn’t surprise you when he asks you for something bigger and more costly. Don’t worry His love will unable you. And at the end, you will enjoy it as much as this journey—even better. But that is for another day. I’m looking forward to listening to you again next morning. Much love sister in Christ
A friend yet to meet,

Ps…I just keep getting words for you. Anyhow….you are now free. Whatever you want to do for the Lord, you can do. Is there anything you always wanted to do for God but didn’t? Think before you were married and before you had kids. I hope this help fill the empty nest.
