Noah’s Ark in Hong Kong?

Talked about this during our afternoon hang out… the Kwok brothers of Hong Kong are building themselves a life size replica of Noah’s Ark. Here it is.

Apparently the ark – which houses a resort hotel and a museum among other attractions – occupies 270,000 square feet. No word on what it cost the Kwok’s to build.

Put Bible’s in Hands That Otherwise Wouldn’t Have Them

Smitty and Steven Are on Their Way!

Are you getting pumped up to see Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W Smith in Sioux City on Friday yet?! This is a pretty epic pairing of artists when you consider all that these folks have done for CCM music. It’s almost like they invented it in its moder form – with Amy Grant sharing a lot of that label as well. So could there be much cooler for a Christian music fan than to behold these two veterans on one stage?! I caught a concert review detailing what one of their shows is like – from Jesus Freak Hideout. I think one of the coolest things to look foward to at that United Tour stop will be that they are reportedly singing several of each other’s songs each. SCC singing “Place in This World”! Who would have thunk this?!

Wow! Experts are now saying that internet addiction is a legitimate mental disorder. And it appears that some of the most likely folks to invest too much time on the web are moms. Indeed. The article says its an effort for a mom to escape the repetition of her daily life, and gain new self-expression. Some of the places that too much time gets spent are message boards and social networking sites. Some of the smart people who study this are recommending that if you have a real problem in this area it might be wise to journal the amount of time that you spend on the internet.
